The wonders of Snæfellsnes

Snæfellsnes glacier is one of the energy centers of the earth.

Poets, writers and artists have often come to the glaciers in search of inspiration and energy.

Amongst those are Iceland´s Noble Price winner Halldór Laxnes and Jules Verne, Journey to the     centre of the Earth.

This tour takes us to Ytri Tunga where a seal colony can be found.

Then further on to Arnarstapi where we take a 1 hour hike along the cliffs to Hellnar where the bird life    is plentiful and amazing rock formations to look at, and to feal the sea breeze and breath in the fresh     air is some thing quite unforgettable.

Then we head on to Dritvík bay, an old fishing bay, Skarðsvík bay Golden Sand and to Saxhóll, Reed Basaltic Crater.

Snæfellsnes with its unique beauty and energy will not leave you untouched.

Optional drive to the glacier or Shark museum at Bjarnarhöfn.
